LeBron James is on track to play in the Cleveland Cavaliers' game in Los Angeles next week, if not sooner, although he said he has not touched a basketball through one week of rehab.

James has missed a career-high seven straight games due to knee and back strains.

David Blatt said James hasn't been coming into games on the sideline because doctors determined "continuous sitting" could harm him.

"Do I miss him? Yes, I miss him as a player, a lot, and I miss him as a person being around, I do," Blatt said.
