The New York Knicks have reached agreement with free agent forward Lance Thomas on a 10-day contract, league sources told RealGM.

After being dealt from the Oklahoma City Thunder to the Knicks in a three-team trade this week, Thomas was released and cleared waivers on Friday.

Thomas, an active forward at 6-foot-8, has averaged 5.1 points, 3.4 rebounds and 20.5 minutes in 22 games this season. He also made 13 starts for a depleted Thunder roster early in the season.

Thomas, 26, played parts of the past three NBA seasons with New Orleans before signing with the Thunder last offseason. He has averaged three points and 2.3 rebounds over 106 NBA games.
