The Sacramento Kings have reached agreement to sign a 10-day contract with Quincy Miller out of their NBA D-League affiliate in Reno, league sources told RealGM on Saturday.

Miller, who starred in scoring 35 points in Reno's showcase game on Friday, is working to join the Kings for their home game against the Los Angeles Clippers on Saturday.

After being waived by the Denver Nuggets out of training camp in October, Miller elected to sign in the D-League over overseas offers. Despite the unique, fast-paced and offensively driven system that Reno runs, Miller had remained confident in his ability to return to the league and had strong ties within the Sacramento organization.

Miller also had meetings scheduled at the D-League Showcase with the Indiana Pacers, Atlanta Hawks, Oklahoma City Thunder and San Antonio Spurs.
