Quincy Miller and the Sacramento Kings are parting for now, with the 6-foot-10 forward headed to play in the D-League All-Star game and both sides planning to negotiate a new deal after the NBA All-Star weekend, league sources told RealGM.

Miller’s second 10-day contract expired on Sunday night, and Sacramento can only sign him again for the remainder of the season.

Miller has played in six games for the Kings since signing with the Kings on Jan. 17. He is averaging 2.8 points, two rebounds and one steal in 10.2 minutes a game, including a 13-point, six-rebound performance against Golden State on Jan. 23.

Out of Baylor in 2012, Miller spent his first two pro seasons with the Denver Nuggets. He joined Reno in the D-League after being released out of training camp this season, earning two 10-day deals with the Kings due to a strong showing in the NBA's minor league.
