The Brooklyn Nets have interest in trading Brook Lopez to the Oklahoma City Thunder in a package for Reggie Jackson.

The Nets, however, need to believe they will be able to convince Jackson to re-sign in the offseason. Jackson will be a restricted free agent. Jackson turned down a four-year, $48 million extension with the Thunder.

The Thunder have had interest in Lopez dating back to the 2008 NBA Draft.

The Thunder would include Kendrick Perkins and Perry Jones as part of the package.

Kevin Garnett and Thad Young could be included in the trade with the former going to the Minnesota Timberwolves and the latter going to the Nets. The Philadelphia 76ers could help facilitate.
