Free agent forward Quincy Miller has reached agreement to sign a 10-day contract with the Detroit Pistons, his agent Jared Karnes told RealGM.

The Pistons are expected to make the deal formal on Saturday.

Miller, 6-foot-10, has played six games for the Sacramento Kings this year but spent the majority of the season with the Reno Bighorns of the NBA D-League.

Miller had discussed a return to the Kings after the All-Star break given the end of his second 10-day deal, but several teams — including Detroit — had strong interest for an immediate deal.

Miller has averaged 2.8 points, two rebounds and one steal in 10.2 minutes a game in the NBA this season. He played for the Denver Nuggets over the last two years.
