The Golden State Warriors are hoping to break ground on their new arena shortly after the start of 2016 and have the venue completed in July or August 2018.

The Warriors released renderings of the interior of the arena for the first time as Rick Welts spoke at the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce's Public Policy Forum.

Welts pointed to suites inside the arena as large as 600 square feet that would sit on one ring in the arena instead of on two levels at Oracle Arena, minimizing the distance from seats to the court.
