Jimmy Butler has won the NBA's Most Improved Player Award. The announcement will come later this week.

Butler rejected an extension offer from the Chicago Bulls and betting on himself will likely lead to a max contract in the offseason as a restricted free agent.

Butler received 92 first place votes and 535 total points.

Draymond Green finished second with 200 points (11 first place votes) ahead of Rudy Gobert with 189 points (12 first place votes.

Hassan Whiteside, Klay Thompson, Anthony Davis and Giannis Antetokounmpo also received first place votes.
