Bobby Portis, listed at 6’10.5” and 246 pounds at the combine, says that among other things he has been working to add muscle since deciding to enter the NBA.

“I've been working on my post-up skills to try and become a dominant player, a versatile big,” Portis told RealGM on Wednesday afternoon. "I’m trying to get my body stronger, I gained eight pounds since the end of my season, which has been big for me.”

Experts consider Portis raw when it comes to scoring in the post, something that added bulk would certainly help. The 20-year-old feels he improved his stock significantly during pre-draft workouts.

“Eight through 17,” he said when asked where he might go. "It was 10 through 20, but it’s been moving up a bit. I think I did great in my workouts to put myself in position to get drafted.”
