Orlando summer league guard Keith Appling has reached agreement on a two-year, partially guaranteed deal with the Magic, league sources told RealGM.

Appling had a stellar performance in the Orlando Summer League with the Magic’s entry, averaging 15.6 points, three rebounds and three assists in five games.

Appling played four seasons at Michigan State, where he was a standout scorer for Tom Izzo. The Detroit native averaged 11.2 points and 4.5 assists as a senior.

Appling, who was unselected in the 2014 NBA draft, went to training camp with the Los Angeles Lakers last October.
