The Portland Trail Blazers have signed Cliff Alexander to a contract.

Alexander dealt with a bruised sternum and a back injury while at Kansas. His predraft workouts were cut short when he injured his right knee while working out for the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Brooklyn Nets added Alexander to the summer league roster where he played in 11 games in Las Vegas and Orlando, averaging 7.5 points, 6.4 rebounds and 22.8 minutes a game.
