Kostas Papanickolau has been waived by the Denver Nuggets.

By waiving Papanickolau before Oct. 4th, the Nuggets shed his $4.8 million contract for the 15-16 season.

Papanickolau was acquired from the Houston Rockets in the Ty Lawson trade.
