Derrick Rose rejoined the Chicago Bulls for the first time since fracturing his left orbital on Sept. 29th, but he hasn't been cleared to activity.

Rose was initially on a two-week timetable, but the swelling didn't dissipate as quickly as envisioned.

The Bulls have yet to rule Rose out for the Oct. 27 regular season opener against the Cavaliers.

"He still has some blurred vision in that eye. It’s still very swollen," Fred Hoiberg said. "But he’s definitely making progress from when I saw him a week ago."
