Tyreke Evans will miss six to eight weeks after undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery.

“It’s tough,” Antony Davis told ESPN.com Wednesday. “Now with Tyreke going down, we won’t have our complete team until January sometime. … It’s tough because you’re coming in with high expectations, thinking everybody is healthy. And then, stuff happens.”

Evans averaged 16.6 points and a career-best 6.6 assists last season.
