While we know the Spurs, Warriors, Thunder, Cavs and Hawks are in the top-10 in both Offensive and Defensive Efficiency, it is nice to see how far away from the pack those teams actually are.

The San Antonio Spurs and Golden State Warriors have been far and away the best teams in the NBA this season with both teams being very good on both sides of the floor, though better on defense and offense respectively.

The Oklahoma City Thunder are close to the Warriors on offense and also defense, while the Cleveland Cavaliers, Toronto Raptors and Los Angeles Clippers have some separation between themselves and the mass of teams in the 103-106 points per 100 possessions on offense and defense range.

The Spurs have an efficiency differential of 15.1, followed by the Warriors at 12.1, Thunder at 8.9, Cavs at 5.8 and Raptors at 4.0.
