Jeff Hornacek has been fired as head coach of the Phoenix Suns.

The decision was reached after the Suns' 91-78 loss on Sunday to the Dallas Mavericks.

The Suns have lost 19 of 21.

Phoenix came close to firing Hornacek in December but they wanted to give him additional time to try to turn around their season.
