Brad Calipari, the son of John Calipari, will be a walk-on at Kentucky next season.

Calipari averaged 13 points and three assists per game for MacDuffie in Massachusetts this season and had been receiving interest from the likes of Liberty, East Tennessee State and some Ivy League schools.

MacDuffie coach Jacque Rivera says Calipari has worked hard to improve his game and change his body.

"He's a hard worker," Rivera said. "He's worked hard to change his body. His body fat is under 10 percent."

Calipari's two main strengths are his shooting and his feel for the game.

"He's a Division I shooter," Rivera said. "He has a very high basketball IQ. He's a very smart basketball player. He has tremendous upside and he's very competitive. He wants to win more than anyone."
