Steve Mills could push for the New York Knicks to hire David Blatt as head coach.

Mills and Blatt were teammates at Princeton.

Blatt was fired by the Cleveland Cavaliers in January.

Phil Jackson is expected to prefer to hire one of "his guys" such as Kurt Rambis, Brian Shaw or Luke Walton.
