Jerry Colangelo talked about the need for fan support in a two-minute video released by the Philadelphia 76ers.

"I can't overemphasize how important fan support is to a franchise," Colangelo said. "I'm asking you to continue to support this franchise. It's very, very important for us at this critical time. There's only one way to go and that's up. And it's going to be fun building it."

The 76ers have ranked in the bottom three in attendance over the last three seasons.

Colangelo noted that he believes general manager Sam Hinkie and the Sixers, with as many as four first-round picks in the June 23 draft, close to $60 million in salary-cap space and the potential to add a healthy Joel Embiid and Dario Saric to next year's roster, "have a bright, bright future."

"We're watching young players develop," Colangelo said. "We're anticipating a lot of good things to happen in the very near future. If the stars are aligned and you have just a little bit of luck, we could turn this thing around much faster, much quicker than people seem to believe it's going to take."
