The Golden State Warriors nearly rested Stephen Curry for their game in Utah on Wednesday.

Curry played 42 minutes in the Warriors' overtime victory.

“He’s in his prime,” Steve Kerr said. “He’s not injured. He felt great. We let him play.”

Kerr said the conversation might have been different if it was with center Andrew Bogut, Andre Iguodala or Shaun Livingston. Those players have each played at least 10 seasons and have a history of injuries.

“We feel like we’re navigating this thing,” Kerr said. “We’re not running anybody into the ground or anything like that.”
