The NBA had six teams finish in the top-10 in both offensive and defensive efficiency this season. A top-10 finish in both categories is typical for teams that go deep into the playoffs and win the NBA championship.

The San Antonio Spurs, Golden State Warriors, Cleveland Cavaliers, Los Angeles Clippers, Charlotte Hornets and Boston Celtics finished in the top-10 on both sides of the floor.

Finishing in the top-10 only on offense are the Oklahoma City Thunder, Toronto Raptors, Portland Trail Blazers and Houston Rockets. Finishing in the top-10 only on defense are the Atlanta Hawks, Indiana Pacers, Utah Jazz and Miami Heat. The Jazz are the only team in the top-10 in either category to not reach the playoffs.
