Luke Walton has already interviewed with at least the New York Knicks and Brooklyn Nets.

Walton withdrew his name from consideration from the Nets' job though they've now hired Kenny Atkinson.

Phil Jackson spoke with Walton in a phone interview.

The Golden State Warriors have granted permission for other teams to interview Walton provided it doesn't interfere with their playoff run.

Walton could decide to remain with the Warriors for at least another season.

“It’s going to be a long, deliberate process,’’ the source said.

Walton is considered a long shot to want to accept the Knicks' job, but he is considering it due to the "uniqueness" of working with Jackson.

Jackson insisted on Thursday he still wanted to run a triangle-based system offense next season.

Kurt Rambis remains a candidate for the job.

Frank Isola reports Walton told Jackson he's not currently interested in the Knicks' job.
