Seth Curry will decline his $1 million player option for the 16-17 season with the Sacramento Kings to become a restricted free agent.

Curry averaged 6.8 points, 1.5 assists and 1.4 rebounds in 44 games this season and established himself as an NBA rotational guard.

After going unselected in the 2013 draft out of Duke, Curry played in the NBA Development League and on 10-day contracts with Cleveland, Memphis and Phoenix.

Curry's play in Summer League with the Pelicans led to a two-year guaranteed deal with the Kings.
