The Los Angeles Lakers fired Byron Scott on Sunday without a definitive candidate lined up.

The Lakers are expected to consider Luke Walton, Jeff Van Gundy, Kevin Ollie and Ettore Messina.

Tom Thibodeau and Scott Brooks, two possible candidates for the Lakers, accepted jobs with other teams last week.
