Space Jam 2 is getting closer to going into production with LeBron James set to star.

The original version starred Michael Jordan and was released in 1996 and earned $230.4 million.

Justin Lin, who directed Fast & Furious 6 and Star Trek Beyond, is in talks to become the director.

James was in Amy Schumer's Trainwreck last summer.
