LeBron James will re-sign with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

After winning a title, there had been some speculation that James could decide to move on to another challenge.

"I love it here. I love being here. I love my teammates," James told cleveland.com, moments before he boarded a float at The Q for the Cavs' championship parade through downtown Cleveland. "Obviously my agent will take care of all the logistical things but, I'm happy. I've got no plans to go nowhere at this point."

James has signed a one-plus-one contract with the Cavaliers in each of the past two offseasons.

James is under contract on a one-year, $24 million deal for 16-17, which he'll almost certainly decline to make more than $30 million next season with the cap increasing.

"This is the happiest time in my life right now," James said.
