Carmelo Anthony has begun his recruitment of Kevin Durant in free agency. The New York Knicks are pursuing Durant in free agency.

Anthony and Durant were teammates during the 2012 Olympics in London. 

"We've been together," said Anthony. "We've been talking."

Durant's free agency meetings are expected to be held in the New York area.
