The Atlanta Hawks have become more optimistic about their chances of re-signing Al Horford.

Horford is also strongly considering signing with the Boston Celtics or Washington Wizards but both teams are rapidly losing hope of the possibility.

The Hawks can sign Horford to a fifth year which has long been believed to be the deciding factor in his decision.

Atlanta has been weighing trade offers involving Paul Millsap in order to re-sign Horford and have enough space to also sign Dwight Howard.
