Jodie Meeks underwent a surgical procedure to further stabilize the fifth metatarsal in his right foot.

He will be out indefinitely and his return to action will depend on how he responds to rehabilitation.

Meeks was acquired on June 29 by the Orlando Magic from the Detroit Pistons in exchange for a future conditional second round draft pick. He played in only three games with Detroit last season, averaging 7.3 ppg., 1.7 rpg. and 1.0 apg. in 14.5 minpg. Meeks originally suffered a fractured fifth metatarsal in his right foot on Oct. 28 vs. Utah.
