Brandon Ingram aims for six feedings every 24 hours: breakfast, then a snack, then lunch, then a snack, then dinner, then a midnight snack.

"It gets sickening, but I just try to stick to it," said Ingram recently.

Ingram is attempting to add more weight to long, slender frame.

"I think it just gives me motivation to show these guys that the skinny part doesn't matter," Ingram said on a conference call shortly after the Lakers selected him No. 2 overall this summer. "It got me here today. Being skinny didn't mean nothing when I was battling with each and every guy, each and every night."

Ingram has gained 25 poinds over the past year but he's listed at 190 pounds. Ingram wants to weigh 210 pounds by the Lakers' season opener.

"They said he's not finished growing, so his body hasn't had a chance to catch up with him," Ingram's mother Joann said. "I would've thought he was finished, but they said they think he has another inch or two in him."
