Jrue Holiday plans on making his 16-17 season debut within the next week.

Holiday has been away from the team while attending to his wife who underwent brain surgery following the birth of their first child.

Holiday could play as soon as Wednesday against the Magic and certainly by Friday against the 76ers.

Holiday averaged 16.8 points, 3.0 rebounds and 6.0 assists in 28.2 minutes per game with a career high PER of 19.7 last season for the Pelicans.
