Adrian Wojnarowski and several members of Yahoo will move to ESPN.

Wojnarowski signed a four-year contract worth over $6 million in 2015 when his contract with Yahoo was up. As part of the deal, Wojnarowski created The Vertical, which included the likes of Shams Charania, Michael Lee, Bobby Marks, Chris Mannix, Jonathan Givony and others.

Last summer Verizon agreed to buy Yahoo’s web assets for $4.8 billion, but Yahoo has since disclosed two massive hacks that compromised 500 million and a billion email accounts, respectively, and Verizon is attempting to re-negotiate the terms of the agreement.

According to a source, Wojnarowski's exit from Yahoo will be complicated and could take months to sort out.
