The Indiana Pacers have interest in trading for Jahlil Okafor of the Philadelphia 76ers.

The Pacers have been motivated to upgrade their roster around Paul George and appear willing to trade their first round pick this season.

Philadelphia has discussed an Okafor trade with a number of teams this season, most notably the New Orleans Pelicans and Portland Trail Blazers. Both the Pelicans and Blazers have since made trades for big men to take them off the board as a potential trade partner.

Okafor is in his second season with the 76ers out of Duke and he's behind both Joel Embiid and Nerlens Noel on the depth chart at center.

The Pacers already have a second-year center on their roster in Myles Turner.
