Santa Cruz’s Jabari Brown was named NBA Development League Performer of the Week for games played Monday, March 20 through Sunday, March 26.

Brown (6-4, Missouri) led Santa Cruz to a 3-0 week, averaging 25.7 points (sixth in the league), 4.7 rebounds and 3.0 assists. He shot 50 percent from the field, including 14-for-25 from three-point range. The 3-0 week puts Santa Cruz one win away from a playoff berth.

On March 21, Brown scored a season-high 36 points on 12-for-18 shooting. He connected on 8-of-11 from behind the arc and added three rebounds and three assists in a 138-125 victory over the Rio Grande Valley Vipers. On March 25, he tallied 32 points, seven rebounds and four assists in a 134-124 victory over the Los Angeles D-Fenders.
