The Miami Heat have until July 7th to guarantee the $6.3 million salary of Wayne Ellington for the 17-18 season.

Ellington said he has "a good feeling" about the Heat doing so.

The Heat will wait to make that decision until after the first six days of the offseason as they will pursue free agents.

Ellington averaged 10.5 points while shooting 37.8 percent on three-pointers in 24.2 minutes per game in 16-17 for the Heat.

Ellington has bounced around every season since the 12-13 season, playing for the Grizzlies, Cavaliers, Mavericks, Lakers, Nets and Heat.
