Paul George expects to remain with the Indiana Pacers through the 17-18 season and not be traded. George can be a free agent in 2018.

"I’m under contract as a Pacer. That’s all that needs to really be known. I’m here," said George.

"I’m a Pacer. There’s no way around that. This is my team, my group and this is where I’m at.”

George hasn't spoken with LeBron James and doesn't plan to talk to him this summer either. There has been media speculation about the possibility of the Cleveland Cavaliers trading for George this offseason.

"I don’t talk to LeBron, we don’t communicate. I look up to LeBron, obviously."

George also said he and Kevin Pritchard are on the same page and that they had dinner together after his promotion this offseason.

Media reports have consistently linked George to signing with the Los Angeles Lakers in 2018 if he doesn't re-sign with the Pacers.
