The Boston Celtics have agreed to trade the first overall pick to the Philadelphia 76ers. The deal will be finalized on Monday.

Philadelphia is expected to select Markelle Fultz, who worked out for them on Saturday.

Boston will receive the third overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft along with the Los Angeles Lakers' 2018 first round pick or the Sacramento Kings' 2019 first round pick, according to Adrian Wojnarowski.

According to Derek Bodner, the Celtics will get the Lakers pick if it falls between two and five in 2018 and will get the 2019 pick if not.

Adam Himmelsbach reports the Celtics' "overflowing backcourt" was a factor in their decision to pass on Fultz.
