Multiple players have acknowledged there is a growing discontent and a sense of concern about the current state of the Cleveland Cavaliers. Unlike previous seasons, there is doubt as to whether the Cavaliers have the capacity to fix their current issues.

The Cavaliers are still in evaluation mode following the return of Isaiah Thomas from injury.

Earlier in the week, LeBron James said, "I love our potential," when asked about the state of the Cavs.

During each of James' three prior seasons after his return to Cleveland, the team has made significant in-season trades in Iman Shumpert, J.R. Smith and Timofey Mozgov in 2015, Channing Frye in 2016 and Kyle Korver in 2017.
