Malik Monk has been suspended indefinitely by the NBA for violating the league's anti-drug program.

Monk is in his third season with the Charlotte Hornets and is averaging 10.3 points in 55 games.

Monk's reinstatement will be determined by when he is full compliance with the program.

"The Charlotte Hornets are disappointed in Malik’s decision making that resulted in his suspension," said the Hornets in a statement. "As an organization, we do not condone his behavior. However, we are committed to supporting Malik during this time."
