Zack Berg is in Las Vegas covering the Summer League action for RealGM, and this is first report on who has been impressing.

Thaddeus Young, PHI ? Young was brilliant in the open court in both games en route to 27 points on Friday and 22 on Saturday.  He wowed the crowed with an array of ally-oops and nifty lay-ups; however, he struggled a bit to find his shot in the set offense as he forced a few too many tough shots, which led to a 7-21 shooting day against Denver on Saturday.  Still, Young was very impressive and will look to build on his strong two performances as the week continues.

Marreese Speights, PHI ? Speights was an absolute beast against the Warriors on Friday, as he finished with 22 points and 13 rebounds.  He showed tremendous athleticism and finished very strong around the basket, which was highlighted by a thunderous put-back slam.  He was steady again on Saturday, scoring 14, and was a force defensively.

Jason Smith, PHI ? Smith showed nice touch from the outside but struggled some around the hoop.  He was the ref?s favorite target as he accumulated 18 fouls in 2 games.

Anthony Randolph, GSW ? Randolph turned in the best performance of the opening two days as he dropped 30 points on the Sixers.  He showed an array of skills by knocking down jumpers, finishing well, and running the floor.

Brandan Wright, GSW ? It was at times difficult to differentiate between Wright and his long, athletic lefty counter part Randolph, but Wright played a steady game as well, scoring 17 points and being active on both ends.

Rodney Stuckey, DET ? Stuckey continued to impress as he scored 21 against the Lakers.  While he struggled a bit with his shot (6-15), he showed a great knack for getting to the hoop as he shot 10 free throws (9-10).

Eric Gordon, LAC ? Gordon turned in a Jamal Crawford-esque 23 points on 5-18 shooting on Friday.  He drove to the hoop well and converted on 10 of 11 free throws.  He scored 15 on Saturday before leaving the game with a strained hamstring.

DeAndre Jordan, LAC ? Jordan?s first two games were reminiscent of his one year at Texas A&M; he showed flashes of promise with a couple of strong finishes and defensive plays but was unable to sustain it for most of the game.

Joey Graham, TOR ? Graham got to the hoop with ease as he poured in 24, while grabbing 8 rebounds.

Shelden Williams, SAC ? The Landlord controlled the paint as he hauled in 10 boards while scoring 16.

Spencer Hawes, SAC ? Hawes impressively displayed the inside-outside game that made him last year?s tenth overall pick.  He knocked down a handful of jumpers while finishing fairly well; however, he struggled handling the ball as he finished with 7 turnovers.

Jason Thompson, SAC ? Thompson didn?t do enough to help people understand why the Kings reached on him at 12, yet he was solid as he scored 12 and grabbed 7 rebounds.

D.J. Augustin, CHA ? Augustin was very impressive in the Bobcats' win over the Clippers.  He showed exceptional quickness and finished well, scoring 14.  He ran a fluid offense and made a handful of beautiful passes; however due to many missed open shots and fouls, he finished with only 2 assists.

O.J. Mayo, MEM ? Mayo was impressive in his first two games, scoring 15 on Friday and then dominating on Saturday while scoring 26.  He got to the hoop often and knocked down a handful of step back jump shots.  On Friday, he forced the ball a few too many times which led to 8 turnovers, but he seemed much more comfortable on Saturday.  Mayo also turned in the play of the day on Friday when he emphatically slammed one down in shot blocking specialist Hilton Armstrong?s face, which delighted the crowd and brought them to their feet.

Darrel Arthur, MEM ? Arthur played well on Friday scoring 18, but struggled his way to a 3-11 shooting day on Saturday.

Joe Alexander, MIL ? The athletic Alexander struggled greatly on Saturday as he finished the game with only 7 points on 2-13 shooting.  He seemed a bit lost on the offensive end, as he searched for the best ways to put his athleticism to best use while he could not find his mid-range jumper.

Dahntay Jones, DEN ? Jones displayed his great athleticism all game as he got to the hoop often as he poured in 21.
