Jonathon Simmons has agreed to sign with the Santa Cruz Warriors.

Simmons also received 10-day contract offers from two NBA teams.

Simmons is attempting to showcase the ability to immediately contribute in the NBA.

Simmons last played in the NBA last season with the Philadelphia 76ers. Simmons signed a three-year, $20 million contract with the Orlando Magic in 2017.

The NBA Players Association voted to form a union for G League players, league sources told Shams Charania of The Athletic.

The next step is for formal approval at the G League level.

G League president Shareef Abdur-Rahim has previously voiced his support for a players union. 

"We support the players' right to unionize. We view this as a positive thing and are looking to continue to grow our league for the players to develop and accomplish their dreams," said Abdur-Rahim.

Brandon Goodwin and the Atlanta Hawks have agreed to a two-year NBA contract.

Goodwin was previously on a Two-Way contract with the Hawks.

Goodwin has averaged 6.9 points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 13.6 minutes over 25 games with the Hawks. Goodwin spent the 18-19 season with the Denver Nuggets.

The Golden State Warriors have agreed to sign Jeremy Pargo to a 10-day contract.

Pargo was most recently with the Santa Cruz Warriors of the G League, averaging 17.2 points, 3.5 rebounds and 5.8 assists in 30.5 minutes per game.

Pargo last played in the NBA in 2013 with the Philadelphia 76ers.

The Golden State Warriors will sign Zach Norvell to a 10-day contract.

Norvell is currently averaging 16 points per game in the G League.
