The Orlando Magic will sign guard Jay Scrubb to a two-way contract. Scrubb has spent this season playing with the Lakeland Magic of the G League.

In 44 G League games this season, Scrubb has averaged 23.1 points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.2 steals. The 6-foot-5 shooting guard shot 47.5% from the floor and 31.2% on 7.1 three-point attempts per game.

Scrubb spent the first two years of his NBA career with the LA Clippers on Two-Way contracts. He went to training camp with Orlando before joining Lakeland for this season.

Scoot Henderson has been shut down by the G League Ignite for the remainder of the season.

The Ignite are unlikely to make the playoffs and the feeling is that Henderson has shown enough this season ahead of the NBA Draft.

Henderson is expected to either be the second or third pick in the draft.

In 19 G League games, Henderson averaged 16.5 points, 5.4 rebounds and 6.5 assists in 30.7 minutes.

Mac McClung has been named NBA G League Player of the Week for games played Monday, Feb. 27 through Sunday, March 5.  

The 2023 Slam Dunk champion averaged 28.7 points, 4.3 assists and 1.7 steals in three games for the Delaware Blue Coats (3-0).

McClung is on a Two-Way contract with the Philadelphia 76ers.

The Milwaukee Bucks have signed Lindell Wigginton to a Two-Way contract.

A 6-1 guard, Wigginton has played in 35 games (18 starts) with the Wisconsin Herd this season and is averaging 18.6 points, 5.8 assists and 3.9 rebounds in 33.5 minutes per game. This is Wigginton’s second stint with the Bucks after he appeared in 19 games with the team last season while on a Two-Way contract. In those 19 games, the Iowa State product averaged 4.2 points, 1.3 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 10.5 minutes of action.

After going undrafted in the 2019 NBA Draft, Wigginton has played in 117 NBA G League games over the last four seasons, including 60 games (36 starts) with the Herd since 2020. The 24-year-old also played professionally in both Israel and Canada.

Milwaukee’s roster is now at 17 players.

The Oklahoma City Thunder have signed Jared Butler to a two-way contract. Butler was waived by the Utah Jazz before the start of this season.

In 41 games with the Grand Rapids Gold of the G League this season, Butler has averaged 18.2 points, 3.6 rebounds and 5.6 assists per game. He's shot 40% from behind the arc on 7.2 three-point attempts per game.

Butler spent last season with the Jazz after being selected in the second round of the 2021 NBA Draft. He appeared in 42 games as a rookie last season.

The Los Angeles Clippers continued their shuffling of the bottom of their roster with a pair of transactions on Wednesday. LA waived Keaton Wallace from his two-way deal. In his place, the Clippers signed Xavier Moon to a two-way contract.

Moon played in 10 NBA games with the LA Clippers last season. This year, he's appeared in 39 games with the Ontario Clippers of the G League.

Moon has averaged 19.5 points, 4.9 assists and 3.9 rebounds per game in the G League. He's shot 52.8% from the field, including 37% on 3.9 three-point attempts per game.
