Mad Ants Intend To Maintain Uptempo Play

Jan 14, 2012 1:06 AM

Steve Gansey intends to continue an up-tempo style of play for the Fort Wayne Mad Ants.

The team is 2-2 since he has taken over as head coach.

“In terms of pushing the ball, we have to get that first (defensive) rebound and that's one thing we're stressing,” Gansey said. “We want to push it and get up and get going. Tulsa really worked on getting back on us and when we don't get that first rebound, it's harder to push the ball.”
