The three also comprise the largest Canadian class to ever suit up for the upcoming McDonald's All American Game, which is now in its 34th season.

"It is a clear indication that the future of Canadian basketball is in good hands," George Raveling, Nike's Director of International Basketball, said in a statement.  "In the coming years we will continue to see more development from young players in Canada."

Alex Murphy Picks Duke

Feb 7, 2011 6:22 PM

Alex Murphy has committed to Duke and coach Mike Krzyzewski.

He choose the Blue Devils over Florida, Boston College, North Carolina, Kentucky, West Virginia and Villanova.

"I've had a feeling in my gut for a long time now and when I went down to Duke for my unofficial [visit] last month it just kind of solidified things," Murphy said.

"When I talked to Coach K at the end of that trip I knew that was where I wanted to be. The reason I didn't do it right then and there was that I wanted to come home and talk to my family and the people close to me."

Murphy had always maintained that Duke and Florida -- where his older brother Erik is currently a sophomore -- were the two schools recruiting him the hardest.
