Jalen Lecque Draws Attention From NBA Personnel

Mar 9, 2019 12:00 AM

NBA executives, including Sam Presti, have recently watched Jalen Lecque play in person.

The 18-year-old Lecque, who's athleticism has drawn comparisons to Damian Lillard and Russell Westbrook, is currently finishing his season at Brewster Academy.

The 6-foot-4 Lecque has yet to make a decision to declare for the draft, but many believe he will enter if he receives a first-round grade.

Rasheed Wallace Named Head Coach At North Carolina High School

Mar 8, 2019 11:36 PM

Rasheed Wallace was hired as the head basketball coach at Jordan High School in Durham, North Carolina.

Wallace, who was an assistant for the Detroit Pistons during the 2013-14 season, turned down NBA assistant job offers to go back to high school.

"Yeah, the money was good or whatever, but it's not about the money for me. It's about knowledge. Knowledge definitely should be free. It doesn't cost anything to pass that knowledge on to all the young men here. It's also my neighborhood school. I'm in the neighborhood. I'm in the community. So that's why it's definitely going to be important for me and the gentlemen to do community work," said Wallace.
