Darius Adams has been named Euroleague MVP for Round 3 of the Regular Season.

Adams had 18 points, plus career highs of nine assists and three steals, to lead Laboral Kutxa to a 1-7-71 win over Limoges CSP.

Adams made 5-for-8 two-point shots, 2-of-4 threes and sank both of his free throw attempts in compiling a performance index rating of 29, which was the most among all players among the 12 Round 3 games.

Al Harrington has signed with the Sydney Kings as an injury replacement for Josh Childress.

Harrington's deal is for four weeks.

Harrington played 34 games for the Washington Wizards last season and retired from the NBA in March.

Greg Oden has suffered a hand injury that will keep him out of action in China at least three weeks.

Oden had 23 points and 14 rebounds in his first preseason game with the Jiangsu Dragons.

The Dallas Mavericks and Charlotte Hornets were among the teams that auditioned Oden this past summer in hopes of giving him one more NBA shot.

Oden signed with the Dragons for a reported one-year deal worth $1.2 million.

Patric Young led Olympiacos Piraeus to a 76-61 victory over visiting Cedevita Zagreb.

Young also had the highest performance index rating of any player on a winning team in in Regular Season Round 1 to become the first weekly MVP for the 2015-16 season.

Young finished the game with 16 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and 4 blocks in an impressive all-around performance.

He made 6 of 9 two-point shots and 4 of 7 from the free throw line after drawing 7 fouls. 

Nate Huffman died at the age of 40 after a battle with bladder cancer. 

Huffman was diagnosed recently with stage IV bladder cancer and was dealing with symptoms at his home in Battle Creek in recent weeks.

Huffman was a standout basketball player in college at Lansing Community College and all-league player later at Central Michigan University from 1995-97. Initially, Huffman played professionally in the Continental Basketball League for the Idaho Stampede before going to Europe to play in Spain and then later for Maccabi Tel Aviv, where he was coached by David Blatt. 

Huffman later signed with the Toronto Raptors.

The New Orleans Pelicans have signed Bo McCalebb.

McCalebb, who plays point guard, has never played in the NBA after finishing his career at the University of New Orleans in 2008.

McCalebb went on to have a successful career in Europe. He has won championships in Serbia, Turkey and Italy and was named the Italian League MVP in 2012.

The Pelicans are thin at point guard with Jrue Holiday on a minutes restriction and an injury to Norris Cole.

Nikoloz Tskitishvili was released from his contract with the Los Angeles Clippers and signed a make-good deal in China with Fujian.

Tskitishvili scored 13 points in his audition.

Tskitishvili was with the Clippers in preseason, his first NBA appearance since 2006.

The Houston Rockets hope to bring Alessandro Gentile to the NBA for the 16-17 season.

The Rockets own the draft rights to Gentile, who was the 53rd overall pick of the 2014 NBA Draft.

Gentile has played for Milano since 2011 and was Serie A Finals MVP in 2014.
