Deni Avdija Becomes Youngest MVP In Israeli League History

Deni Avdija has been officially named the Israeli Winner League MVP for the 19-20 season. Avdija is the youngest MVP in the history of the championship.

Avdija finished the regular season with 13.5 points, 6.1 rebounds and 2.6 assists in 27.1 minutes over 28 games while averaging 10.8 points, 7.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.5 steals in 31.0 minutes of four playoff games.

Avdija is expected to be a high lottery pick in the 2020 NBA Draft.

Avdija helped lead Maccabi to their third straight Israeli League championship.

Filip Petrusev To Leave Gonzaga, Sign Pro Deal In Serbia

Filip Petrusev will leave Gonzaga and sign a professional deal in Serbia.

"There's a lot of uncertainty with the NCAA season. Here I should be able to showcase some skills I wasn't able to at Gonzaga and improve my draft stock," said Petrusev.

Petrusev, who averaged 17.5 points and 7.9 rebounds last season, currently does not have plans to withdraw his name from the NBA Draft. 

Petrusev will have until October 6th to withdraw from the draft.

Pau Gasol To Sign One-Year Deal With Barcelona

Pau Gasol and Barcelona are close to an agreement on a one-year deal that is expected to be finalized later in the summer.

Gasol plans to retire after the Tokyo Olympics. 

Gasol was waived by the Portland Trail Blazers in November as he continued to recover from surgery on his left foot.

Igor Kokoskov Agrees To Become Head Coach Of Fenerbahce

Igor Kokoskov has agreed to become the next head coach of Fenerbahce.

Kokoskov was head coach of the Phoenix for one season and is currently head coach of Serbia and assistant coach of the Sacramento Kings.

Kokoskov was previously an assistant coach for the Utah Jazz.
