Victor Wembanyama was named MVP of the French league's All-Star Game on Thursday.

Wembanyama scored 27 points to go with 12 rebounds and four assists as the All-Star France team won 136-128 against the All-Star World team.

Wembanyama is leading the French league with averages of 22.9 points and 9.6 rebounds. 

O.J. Mayo is set to continue his basketball career in Egypt. Mayo is reportedly joining Zamalek SC of the Egyptian Basketball Super League, according to reports out of Egypt.

The 35-year-old guard hasn't appeared in an NBA game since 2016 with the Milwaukee Bucks. Mayo was then suspended indefinitely for a drug violation. He was eligible for reinstatement prior to the 2018-19 season.

Since leaving the NBA, Mayo has played for teams in Puerto Rico, Taiwan, Japan, China and Russia. He was most recently with UNICS Kazan in Russia. In 26 games with UNICS last season, Mayo averaged 5.5 points in 13.7 minutes per game.

Greg Monroe has signed a deal with the Shanxi Loongs in China. This deal will take Monroe through the remainder of the CBA season.

Monroe appeared in 14 games with four different NBA teams last season. Monroe was called up several times on COVID hardship callup deals with the Milwaukee Bucks, Utah Jazz and Washington Wizards, before finishing the season with the Minnesota Timberwolves.

In his 10-year NBA career, Monroe has averaged 13 points and 8.2 rebounds per game. He's also played for Bayern Munich in Germany and Khimki in Russia during his career.
