Lakers forward Lamar Odom hopes to play for Team USA at the 2012 Olympics in London.

Odom won a gold medal with Team USA at the World Championships in Turkey this summer.

"Hopefully, I'll get invited," Odom said. "I love playing for Coach K. I have a lot of respect for [Jerry] Colangelo and the whole coaching staff and everyone with USA Basketball. I love all of those people."

Odom won bronze in the 2004 Athens Games, but he was not part of the Redeem Team that won gold in Beijing in 2008.
