Draymond Green On Kevin Durant Free Agency: 'If He Go, He Go'

Mar 19, 2019 12:01 AM

Draymond Green said that the Golden State Warriors' focus is on winning a third straight NBA title and not on Kevin Durant's upcoming free agency.

“He’s part of it right now. Whatever happens this summer happens. Whatever the hell he do, he does. If he go, he go. If he stay, he stay. But while he’s here, we’re going to win another championship. It’s just that simple. Nothing else matters," said Green.

Green added that there are no lingering effects from their confrontation last November.

“It’s not important. We’re not about to sit around and walk around, or carry something around, that happened in November.”

Isaiah Thomas On Potential Celtics Return: 'You Never Know'

Mar 18, 2019 11:29 PM

Returning to Boston as a member of the Denver Nuggets, Isaiah Thomas expressed his love for the Boston Celtics and the city before their matchup.

Thomas added that he reached out to Danny Ainge during free agency last season.

"I know we left on bad terms with me being traded. I wanted them to know that the interest was there. I didn’t know if they were interested, and I wasn’t saying I wanted to come back and be the guy. I was just saying if the opportunity presents itself, just know I’m interested," said Thomas.

Thomas, a free agent this summer, left the door open for his return.

"You never know. You can’t predict the future. My options are always open for anybody. I’m a Denver Nugget now, but I’m a free agent at the end of the season, and you never know what can happen. Who knows?"

LeBron James Defines Lakers As 'Catering To Players, Everything Else Comes Secondary'

Mar 18, 2019 10:12 AM

LeBron James was asked what the Los Angeles Lakers' message to pending free agents will be this offseason.

"I don't know," said James.

"Listen, at the end of the day this franchise wants to win and wants to win big, and the one thing about the franchise, they cater to the players, and that's it," said James. "Everything else comes secondary, they only want us to go out and perform at a high level and play the game at a high level so we can be mentioned with some of the great teams that's in the league at that point in time. ...

"There's a lot of great free agents this summer. Not going to name any names because every time I say something, or our organization says something about a specific person we get in trouble, but we have an opportunity to get better, and that's something that is definitely great to know that, when you have an opportunity to get better from a personnel standpoint."
